Take a look at those detailed regional numbers from SES, based on a five-day roll. The Tories now lead the Liberals in every region of the country. Not only that, but in every part of every region: in Ontario, they lead in Southwestern Ontario, in Northern and Eastern Ontario, even in the Greater Toronto Area.

There are just two places where the Liberals still lead: Montreal and Toronto. Behold how the "only national party" has fallen: they have become the Montreal-Toronto party.

The Liberals have no ideas, no positives and they are only playing the total fear game.

"Paul Martin has failed the test of leadership. His term of office as Prime Minister, like his campaign, is about nothing. The issues he and his team are talking about in this campaign are improvised, incoherent and frequently embarrassing when they aren't offensive."

Coyne is right. It is over. Harper's press coverage  over the last two days is verging on Trudeaumania.

 Prime Minister Paul Martin is well on the way to becoming the Kim Campbell of the first decade of the new century.

Via SDA, Kate is reporting that CTV Newsnet claims there is a move afoot for a formal coalition between the Liberals and the NDP to stop the Conservatives.  She sees this as an admission by the Liberals that their campaign is in deep trouble.

Just noticed a good article by Peter Foster in the National Post about Paul Martin's connection with mentor and business partner Maurice Strong. It ties right in with the Liberal attack ad about soldiers with guns in Canadian cities. It takes one to know one.
