Well at least no one can say that business intersts own him. He backs principles over $$$ . I would support him.
Go Tom, GO!
He backs principles over $$$
BWAHAHAHA. Tancredo is just a different preacher for the Buchanan church that fleeces the conservative flock yet accomplishes nothing. Very good at fundraising. Results are nil and none.
And before I get flamed by Tancredo is not affiliated with Buchanan" morons, see below. The only thing different is the phone number.

As long as he blocks McKennedy...
At least he stands up for what he believes...and I believe it too...I live in Denver...and I don't want to learn spanish...
My feelings exactly.
Neither Bush nor McCain have the backing of the conservatives on this issue. Tancredo, like him or not, is in the mainstream on this issue. An article last year in the Denver Post said that very thing.
What exactly does he believe? In fundraising? Yes. Name in the press? Yes. Delivering results on border security and illegal immigration? Haven't seen a signed piece of legislation yet or anything done by Tancredo to get existing laws enforced by feds, state and local law enforcement.
Should we donate money to Tancredo/Buchanan so they can hold press conferences and send out more fundraising letters? Good intentions? They say the road to Hell is paved with them. It is the conservative equivalent of donating money to Greenpeace...an emotional feel-good response that doesn't do a damn thing for the environment.
Anyone who has studied the Buchanan operation (which Tancredo is a part of) knows that it excels at fundraising...and looting the funds for personal gain in the form of marketing, consulting, and advertising fees.

If his main goal was to raise money, however, why would he not be supporting illegal immigration? Everybody knows that that is where the big money comes from. Ken Melhman knows it.
BTW., I don't know what your position on illegal immigration is, but st this point I am willing to support just about anybody who runs on securing the border and defeating amnesty in the Senate. And once again, I am open to the idea of a TEMPORARY worker program, but with these conditions:
1. Only instated after serious measures are taken to secure border
2. Offers no path to citizenship
3. Birthright citizenship does not apply
On the issue of illegal immigration they stand with 80% of Americans in opposing amnesty. Most Americans also want our borders secured, employers prosecuted and punished for hiring illegals and a freeze on all govt welfare handouts to illegals. You have a problem with that policy?
There are three main bills floating around WashDC right now. The Kennedy-McCain bill, the Kyl-Cornyn bill and the current version of Tancredo's immigration reform. The first two don't go far enough towards getting the job done. Team America is a grass roots campaign. Nothing more American then regular folks joining forces to fight the federal government. You have a problem with that too?
I'm going to send my next political donation to Tancredo.
So apparently a huge guest worker program is just the kind of 'results' you would like to see, right ?
Btw, there is more then just Tom Tancredo behind Team America. From the Team America website:
The Immigration Reform Caucus was established to review current immigration policy, propose new immigration policies and provide a forum in Congress for addressing the positive and negative consequences of our immigration policies.
