Good point. I wondered when the feds were going to take these domestic terrorists seriously.
If their efforts aren't nipped soon there will be some humans killed eventually.
Thought you'd like to see this one yank.

Earth Liberation Front Resorts to Terrorism in the Wake of Failed Court Battle Vail Ski Resort Sustains $12 Million in Damage Due To Arson |

"On behalf of the lynx, five buildings and four ski lifts at Vail were reduced to ashes on the night of Sunday, October 18th. Vail, Inc. is already the largest ski operation in North America and now wants to expand even further. The 12 miles of roads and 885 acres of clearcuts will ruin the last, best lynx habitat in the state. Putting profits ahead of Colorado's wildlife will not be tolerated. This action is just a warning. We will be back if this greedy corporation continues to trespass into wild and unroaded areas. For your safety and convenience, we strongly advise skiers to choose other destinations until Vail cancels its inexcusable plans for expansion." Earth Liberation Front (E.L.F.) "The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives." --FBI Definition of Terrorism ...."reduced to ashes" These are not the words of the IRA, the Islamic Jihad, or another foreign terrorist organization. They are the words of a domestic terrorist organization, the ELF (Earth Liberation Front), and they are speaking directly to you, to me, and to every citizen of the United States of America. Funding the international green agenda--Nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), especially environmentalist groups, have become enormously influential in international politics. But how did they attain that power? In our manifesto, we traced the fundamental ideas that led to movement's ascendancy. But the Capital Research Center takes a different approach: it "follows the money." Their eye-opening report reveals that "With the financial backing of major U.S. philanthropies, such as the Ford Foundation, environmental activists use United Nations forums and other international meetings to influence global trade and environmental policy." Among the groups dissected: EarthJustice Legal Defense Fund, Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace Fund, Greenpeace International, Greenpeace, Inc., Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Pew Charitable Trusts, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and the (Ted) Turner Foundation. A must for all researchers on environmental issues. |
Glad to hear they're in custody, as usual, I hope they get some 'friendly' cellmates. I can imagine that eco freaks rank up there with child molesters in prison.
When I was home at Christmas, I recall hearing one of Kerry's former advisors complaining that the WH was wiretapping PeTA and Greenpeace members (illegally). I thought that was GREAT news!
