No, we spent much of the day inside the house. Ou had a game on Tv but i didn't watch it. I was doing other stuff.
Today is forecast to be a critical fire weather day. Keeping our fingers crossed for rain.
To: E.G.C.
Boy, you guys are having an awful shortage of rain. Hope you get some soon.

Could I be removed from the Canteen ping list? I'm missing other pings because of the volume (and luckily the Canteen is EASY to find!!). Many thanks.
God bless our troops, vets and their families.

I didn't know that! :D I have it on a TShirt that I got (ironically) about 6 months prior to 9/11. Heheheh... I do remember the Grizzly Adams song though, it was a fave tv show of mine growing up.
Happy birthday baby bro... he's 4 years older than me! :D

A Canteeen ping from the (I hope) better late than never department:
To give a historical perspective regarding how different Top 10 music was before rock 'n' roll, this song by Phil Harris (the guy who sings some of the stuff in Disney's
The Jungle Book) was supposedly the #1 hit in 1950. I wasn't around yet to personally witness when it hit #1 (like Rush Limbaugh, I was born in 1951), but I remember listening to the song on 78 RPM records. So much for the intro, here's the song:
Phil Harris - The Thing
