The thing that is really interesting about PeTA is in so many of their press releases they state facts like: "KFC buys chickens from slaughter houses that murder 10,000 chickens per hour" or something to that effect.
Statements like that are used to sway public opinion to thinking that they operate 'cruelly', in reality the fact that they are so efficient means that they quickly kill birds and don't spraypaint their heads. It isn't in their financial interest. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if someone spit tobacco into a bucket of heads (in reality, who cares?) though I doubt processing plant regs allow workers on the floor to use tobacco when dealing with food.
Morons.
