Ah, but you see, it's OKAY for Arnold to "vote with the Democrats" on propositions. FairOpinion's "outrage" over "voting with the Democrats" on Propositions ONLY extends to conservatives who don't like Arnold. If you're a RINO politician, you can "vote with the Democrats" all you want and she'll beat down the door to praise you.
See my post #570. I love how FO keeps ranting about how no Arnold basher wants to discuss the "facts". She has been avoiding my FACTS like the plague.
Check the DEMOCRATS position on Props. 54, 68, and 71. Now check Arnold's position on those same props. Now let me know when FO expresses the same "outrage" over "voting with Democrats" on Props. 54, 68, and 71 that she does with Props. 76 and 77.
Oh, and since FO never bothered to check the political landscape in Rhode Island to "prove" her point that a RINO is the best you can get, I will post the numbers myself. Here's who holds office along side the unapologetically PRO-LIFE, PRO-FAMILY, PRO-GUN CONSERVATIVE Governor:
RHODE ISLAND CONSTITUTIONAL ELECTED OFFICES
GOVERNOR: Don Carcieri (R)
LT. GOVERNOR: Charlie Fogarty (D)
SECRETARY OF STATE: Matt Brown (D)
ATTORNEY GENERAL: Patrick Lynch (D)
STATE TREASURER: Paul Tavares (D)
RHODE ISLAND GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Senate President: Senator Joseph A. Montalbano (D)
Senate Majority Leader Sen. Teresa Paiva-Weed (D)
Speaker of the House: Assemblyman William J. Murphy (D)
House Majority Leader: Assemblyman Gordon D. Fox (D)
House Majority Whip: Assemblyman Peter F. Kilmartin (D)
RHODE ISLAND PRESIDENTIAL VOTE
2004
John Kerry/John Edwards Democrat 59.42%
George W. Bush/Dick Cheney Republican 38.67%
2000
Al Gore/Joe Lieberman Democrat 61.01%
George W. Bush/Dick Cheney Republican 30.91%
1996
Bill Clinton/Al Gore Democrat 59.71%
Bob Dole/Jack Kemp Republican 26.82%
1992
Bill Clinton/Al Gore Democrat 47.04%
George H. Bush/Dan Quayle Republican 29.02%
Those statistics presented in a list are even more compelling than your prior post.
And Carcieri doesn't look like a movie star or action hero, either!
I'm ready for the year of the Wonks(R)! :-)
Sorry you can't tell the difference between Rhode Island and California.
The bad news is that Arnold groupies hate facts. The good news is that they've grown inceasingly silent as the facts unfold.
