he President met with Germany's new Chancellor Angela Merkel in the Oval Office today, they spoke about a wide range of issues including Iran, Iraq, Ariel Sharon and Club GITMO in Cuba. After their meeting in the Oval Office the two leaders held a press conference East room of the White House. The President also hosted a visit to the Oval Office by the U.S. Solheim Cup womens Golf Team. The President also met with Business leaders in the Oval Office to discuss relief efforts in Central America

I followed your link. Thanks. I hope your life is getting back to normal now. Your job is quite demanding and it must have been a hard week catching up.
I hope Cheney is firm with those Saudis, and makes it clear to them that we are not pleased with their funding of terrorism.

It sounds from the way it is worded that it is very much a visit representing the President and he is seeing the leaders not the deputy leaders. IMHO he is delivering a message from the President hopefully as you say a warning about any involvement their countries have in the terrorism or terrorists.

DrDeb, That German News show was incredible, I sure wish we had media outlets like that German one. That was an inspiring news cast if I have ever seen one. They focused on all the things we shared and loved about each of our cultures. What a great show, a
