I was with Bush in the begining, but it's slowly becoming clear that the effectiveness of his response to 9/11 has far short of stellar. It has been almost 4 1/2 years since 9/11, and the best we can possibly say is that Zawahiri *may* be dead, bin Laden *may* have died of natural causes, and most of our military is bogged down in a pointless war 1000 miles away from where our real enemies are. As a point of comparison, we defeated Hitler in about 3 1/2 years.
Sorry for the rant, but I think we've been patient long enough. If Bush isn't going to take out al Qaeda then he should step aside and let someone else do it. I can't understand why we don't have 500k troops in eastern Afghanistan right now. Neutralizing the organization is not good enough. I want them DEAD!
