I don't think it is treason or that it is wise for us to call it treason when someone criticizes the President, even if we believe that the criticism is untrue and hurts the morale of the country and the troops.
We'll see if she gets close enough for a campaign picture?
Day light come and he just won't shut up.
Sean Hannity said it best on Fox & Friends this morning - Hillary Clinton was at a fundraising event with Belafonte and could have denounced his remarks... but didn't. Shows you where her loyalties really are - moderate my @$$.
"Sen. Hillary Clinton narrowly avoided political disaster yesterday by staying at least 15 feet away from Harry Belafonte at all times during the Children's Defense Fund lunch in the Rainbow Room. That, presumably, was a safe distance. "
Belafonte got what he was after; publicity. No one had heard from him for decades and banana royalties are slim.
The reporter then asked Belafonte, "Some (of your comments) are a little over the top, you must admit?"
"Over whose top?" he replied.
The reporter clarified that the comments were regarded as "pretty outrageous."
"Outrageous?"
Do you always answer a question with a question?
A question?
Yes, its really annoying. Do you want to explain your earlier comments?
My comments?
Yes, your comments. Are you always such an asshole?
An asshole?
I liked The Daily Show's take, something along the lines of "I don't think you can find millions of Americans who know where Venezuela is." They really ripped Harry on that episode.
Still, treason? No. Stupid, moronic, in bad taste? Of course.
And which agenda is this? Oh, you mean destroying the nation upon which all our children will have to depend? There's been a lot of outright morons in America in recent years but this old fool has completely surrendered his senses.
Muleteam1
insisting he only was being truthful and was prompting the press to cover a "side of the agenda" it ignores.
Guess he doesnt read the NY Slimes or watch an alphabet network.
Harry Belafonte is an ignorant brainwashed clone. He believes in the Marxist state and lauds Castro, dictator of totalitarian Cuba.
"In 2003, President Castro stated publicly that the universities were open only to those who shared his revolutionary beliefs." -http://wwww.state.gov
CUBA, Marxist Utopia:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Government restricted literary and academic freedoms and continued to emphasize the importance of reinforcing revolutionary ideology and discipline at the expense of freedom of expression. The educational system taught that the State's interests took precedence over all other commitments. Academics, government journalists, and other government officials were prohibited from meeting with some diplomats without prior approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry of Education required teachers to evaluate students' and their parents' ideological character and to place such evaluations in school records. These reports directly affected students' educational and career prospects. Government policy required teaching materials for courses such as mathematics or literature to have an ideological content. Government efforts to undermine dissidents included denying them advanced education and professional opportunities. Government controlled public libraries denied access to books or information if the requestor was unable to produce a letter of permission from the proper government ministry. In 2003, President Castro stated publicly that the universities were open only to those who shared his revolutionary beliefs.
