I didn't notice that when C-span highlighted (soundbited) the Specter-Kennedy exchange they bothered to mention Alito was not connected with the papers.

No, they didn't mention it, they just played the whole exchange between them.

At least C-Span is not like FNC and CNN, who tell you what you just heard and what that might mean. :)

I switch around among the cable news channels. I avoided FoxNews, when we first got cable, but when I began to watch it, I learned that Hume's summaries of developments usually matched what I had decided independently after watching C-Span.

The best original source is C-Span. It does a great job of presenting both sides of issues, to those like me who often have free time to watch hours of TV.

When I don't have time, I trust Hume.
