Judge Napolitano was just asked about CAP, Concerned Alumni of Princeton on the Fox News Channel and he stated that he was a classmate and fellow member of CAP with Judge Alito. Judge Napolitano further stated that the purpose of the group was to try and get R.O.T.C. back on the campus of Princeton(the R.O.T.C. building had been fire bombed and the R.O.T.C. members had to attend classes etc. off campus) Napolitano stated that Laura Ingraham was a member and that they not only had female members but also "members of color."

Two peripheral issues for CAP was the lowering of academic standards to enroll minorities.
Another issue was ending the all male rule and allowing women to enroll.

IMHO: Kennedy's seething has SOMETHING to do with Princeton itself...Not Alito, not the club.
What is there about Princeton that makes Kennedy overreact?

Remember that asshole Wilentz who spoke up against impeachment? He's a Princeton professor!
Like most so called elite colleges, other than pure science colleges, the faculty is far far left.

What is there about Princeton that makes Kennedy overreact? When he was thrown out a Harvard for cheating, maybe he applied to Princeton and was turned down?
To: Onelifetogive
Well evidently, according to Judge Napolitano, CAP was neither sexist or racist since there were females and "members of color."

In fact if I am not mistaken Laura Ingraham on her radio program this morning said she was President of the organization at that time. She replaced Dinesh D'Souza as editor of the magazine.

We all know they would vote to outlaw R.O.T.C.s on college campuses and ban recruiters from high schools.

Ingraham mentioned on her show this A.M. that she was the editor, and Dinesh D' Souza was also in a prominent position for the magazine as well.
She was fit to be tied this morning...as pissed off as I've ever heard her. Good for her.

Ingraham and D'souza are Dartmouth alums and were involved with The Dartmouth Review (which has its own share of controversy). I'm not certain if they were ever involved with CAP.

It must be the ancient feud between Princeton and Harvard. In Princeton they have "beat Harvard!" slogan [probably from football games] even on their underwear, among other objects.

What is there about Princeton that makes Kennedy overreact?JFK was thrown out of Princeton. He spent part of his freshman year there before he was asked to leave. The official story is that JFK was "sick" so he had to transfer to another university (makes sense, no?). If you ever visit P-ton (a lovely campus), there is a little plaque commemorating JFK's few months there. I believe it is in the Class of 1938 Hall, in the Wilson residential college.
