Specter's original schedule is Committee vote on the 17th, Senate floor vote on the 20th.
I just heard on the way home (via radio news) that they are considering just quitting the confirmation hearings and taking a vote....
but I am sure the dems would prefer to conitinue their suicide mission and fundraising circus.....
