The committee vote is scheduled for the 17th and the Senate floor vote is on the 20th

they will debate next week for 3 days...Amazing that the current crop of senators needs a couple of months of preparation, several days of hearings, a committee vote, and three days of floor debate to do something that earlier senators typically got done in a day or two -- maybe a month if they had to return from a recess first.
