Well, Sen. Turbin wanted to know why Judge Alito wasn't more "sensitive" in his past appellate court votes.

It's all about "feelings", ya know, like "serandipty" and "empathy", ya know, not about what the law dictates, ya know.

Which explains, perfectly, why they don't grade in schools anymore and New Jersey just changed verbs and nouns to "stuff" and adverbs to "more stuff."

And, no, this isn't a joke... heard it on a talk show this weekend.

One great response Alito didn't give to Durbin. The democrats have paid lip service to the idea that the law has to be applied the same to everybody, that the weakest should have the same access to justice as the powerful.

But in the case of the 10-year-old, Durbin specifically asked Alito if he shouldn't have taken into account that it was a woman and a 10-year-old girl in making his determination.

As if it had been an innocent man and a 20-year-old boy they shouldn't have had the same laws applied to them.....
