Isn't there some kind of buzzer or bell that goes off when their time is up? Arlen needs to check it.

The dems I think see this as a winner either way. If he was a member, then he espoused all their beliefs (a bunch of hooey). If he wasn't, then he exaggerated on his job application. These people are desparate slime.

What are you talking about? Lindsey Graham has actually done well in these hearings.I think that there is room for a difference of opinion on Graham's performance in these hearings.

Damn, Leahy finally gets to his "goy ya" question.
Alito swats it away. Leahy looks dazed having a hard time reading his staff prepared questions. Leahy slinks off to his netherworld.

Leahy should retire and become a spokesman for Folger's or something productive.

I think this was the latter, because Meiers is a very good friend of laura Bush.
It seems he really wanted her in, but the US will probably get someone better.

Yes. It was clear that Graham was apologizing for the behavior of the Rats. But some freepers have reported that through manipulations with the tape and the order of the words, CNN and ABC made it look like Graham was attacking Alito and that is what made his wife cry.

With Leahy, it was more likely an epithet.

I figured that rat staffers pulled an all nighter last night going through those CAP papers.....I'm sure the Swimmer is disappointed...

Kennedy and his staff aren't skilled enough to develop their own questions for Judge Alito?

He comes across nearly as idiotic as the RATS. Does the man understand the concept of letting one answer a question???? He asks questions then interupts in the middle of the answer. It breaks up Alito's ability to articulate himself.

Sometimes I wonder if President Bush plans ALL of these things or some of them are just happy coincidences. LOL. I wonder for a very short time. Some things are luck and divine providence. The trip down Miers Lane was one such event, IMO. It seems to be turning out rather well on many facets.

After watching on and off the actions of the Democrats on that committee with their
performances, you really wonder has they done themselves some very serious PR damage. Senator Kennedy's act definitely got worn out and trite in no time flat.
