Most of the hearings are nothing but a play. Scripted questions, scripted theatrics. Nominees are circumspect in their answers.
Mrs. Alito's tears were not scripted. They were real. That takes us out of the "stage" and focuses attention on the true ugliness and viciousness Democrats have been allowed to direct at Judge Alito. She isn't playing a part in a Play. She's simply there to support her husband.
Everyone can relate and brings the words in the hearing home beyond pure politics.

All of us forget there are real people under all of this. Democrats are the worst at it. They have completely dehumanized all Republicans. Others have completely dehumanized all politicians.
It's easy to do. But these people are not made of stone. Until they act that way, and then you have to wonder for their soul.

Sometimes I feel pretty hard boiled, you know? Jaded even. But not tonight.
Alito is not just one man. Alito is a team, a united team. Can people even begin to appreciate the dedication it took the team to get this far? And FOR WHAT? If the rats win and get their way, all that dedication will lead to WHAT? Losing at this point is not an option for them. I hope the Alito Team realizes this. They MUST win!
