Did you see the natural gas company in New York State that was applying for a rate hike because people had conserved, the way they were told to. Therefore, the gas company didn't sell enough product! Just something evil about that.
I am thankful for the warm winter weather. I can afford the gas bills, but I know many who can't.
I've seen that more times than I care to count in New England...the utility companies tell you to conserve, then when you do; they jack the rates, because they aren't making enough money. What BS.
