Smart and priveleged? In the senate?.........priveleged, maybe, but the smart part? How 'bout lazily clever?......The whole collective IQ in the Senate must be close to a hot cup of coffee latte.......

If Alito is a freeper, then let's yank his nomination now. He should run for Prez in 2008.

Let's not forget the ever spiraling downward of the culture into rampant drug use during that time.

The whole collective IQ in the Senate must be close to a hot cup of coffee latte.......Yeah, and Ted Kennedy is a real mental giant. Didn't he have a little trouble with cheating in school?
Did you catch his act yesterday at the hearings? He was pontificating to all the world on character and ethics.
Being lectured by Ted Kennedy on ethics is not unlike being lectured on dating protocol by Ted Bundy.

"I saw some very smart people and very privileged people behaving irresponsibly" Ala BJ and Shrillery Clinton, circa 1990's. He being so "smart" he couldn't keep his pants on and her being so "smart" she couldn't stay out of trouble. Alito is describing the same crowd of people with the same disastrous results...
Libs get mad when you rightfully call them on their bad behavior and expect much more of them...very similar to the way a child reacts...

This Freeper will gladly meet Mr. "Digby", anytime, anywhere, for a little test of "physical courage". Hygiene-challenged, hairy little socialist creeps who throw like girls ought not write checks their skinny butts can't cash. I know: when the phone doesn't ring...I'll know it's him. Chickenhawk? Chickensh!t.

Contraty to what Miss Ditz says, There was nothing "threatening" about the individual 60s leftists other than what they did in large groups. As individuals, they were quite pathetic physical specimens; when grouped with hundreds or thousands of like-minded Bolsheviks, they became real tigers, especially if they were up against one or two. By themselves, they were laughable and wouldn't have had the slightest power or inclination to confront another man, one-on-one.

LOL.
It's all yours.
I stole it from (Jim) Quinn in the Morning, my very great Pittsburgh talkshow host. He's on the net, check him out.
(quinn@warroom.com) --- he's better than Rush, even...... he and Rush worked together here in the 'Burgh back in the 60's.

Ah. I guess the brainy liberal thinks being a hedonistic, anti-American swine with a full trust fund is not only responsible but perfectly rational.
Too bad the narcissistic freaks on the Left will never grow up.

The other pathway to prove your manhood was to test your physical courage in battle... Alito did neither, Digby writes: "In other words, he's a freeper. I say filibuster the creep." Lies. Many Freepers have served, or are serving, our country in uniform.

The answer Digby reached was that conservative baby boomers -- among them Samuel Alito -- failed to prove their manhood in the 1960s, something that Digby argues could be accomplished equally by joining the counterculture or going to war in VietnamSo the leftists proved their manhood by growing their hair and smoking dope?
