Hello Howlin :)
So would Alito give us a conservative majority of 5-4 on the SCOTUS, or is it still 5-4 with a liberal majority?
I know that Scalia, Roberts, and Thomas are good, but what about the rest Howlin?
I figure you would know better than I would.

So would Alito give us a conservative majority of 5-4 on the SCOTUS, or is it still 5-4 with a liberal majority? We'd have a 5-4 on cases were O'Connor went to the darkside and a 4-5 on cases where Anthony Kennedy is on the dark side.
Bottomline it would be a 4.5-4.5 Court. Maybe a 4.6-4.4 advantage us.

Bush, in the three years left, and/or the next president, will get to name 3 justices....to replace Stevens, Ginsburg, and probably one other...that thus means that for the next 15 years, give or take..( Scalia is the oldest..but he's in very good shape for 68...you'll have solid 6-3, even 7-2, conservative majority on the court...the key issues take a few years to work their way up to that level..That is why the Dems are going nuts....
