I guess I was thinking mostly of private employers since that's who I've always worked for.

I know the government is an entirely different animal.

Just curious. What is the definition of a 10 point veteran?

Boy--you're making me think back 20 years ago--but-"to the best of my recollection", it is a Vietnam or prior combat wounded veteran. Don't know if this is still true--but back 20 years ago, a 10-pt vet could "open up" a hiring register for a Post Office in any town. Do not know if Iraq combat-wounded vets will get a 10 point status. Interesting question tho.

BTW--have to go do bunches of stuff--will "see" you guys later. GOD BLESS!
