A 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman suffered leg injuries last night when they were hit by a sport utility vehicle in the parking lot of Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1430 West Bancroft St. at Auburn Avenue, police said.
All of the involved had just left a boxing match, which was held at the church's life center and was the cause of the melee, Sgt. Greg Smith said.

It WAS a Baptist Church.

The victims were among a large group of people, at least 50 of whom were fighting, in the parking lot about 7:30 p.m. when the injuries occurred. All of the involved had just left a boxing match, which was held at the church's life center and was the cause of the melee, Sgt. Greg Smith said.

I've heard of tough deacon's meetings at Baptist churches, but this has to be the worst!

I have been in a Baptist business meeting
where a fight broke out.
Good call, in my haste to make a joke about speaking in tongues, I got my religios denominations confused.
An SUV that can box! What will they think of next. America, what a country!

So let's see. There were 50 people fighting in the parking lot, including an SUV, who had attended the boxing match at the church and got so riled up it caused the SUV to attack the victims.
You have to admit--this is a liberal journalist's wet dream--a chance to take down boxing, SUV's, and the church in one shot.
