That was a specific answer to why I believe I am relying on God. It says nothing about anyone else's worth or life. (I actually try to avoid pulling scripture into a lot of these discussions becuase I don't want to be seen as a biblebasher. But sometimes that's the only way to provide the real answer)
I've seen this before. Some men don't take care of themselves at all. I'll admit I'm 27 lbs over weight. But by June I'll be back at the right weight and in better shape than I've been in years. (I'm currently down 13 and losing about 2lbs a week while building muscle mass) In my defense though I hadn't had time to work out as I was taking care of my wife. I figure if I expecther to look good I better look as good as I can also.

If a man wants to have a stable family with a woman who will take care of him and value the family more than the dollar, then looking in a place where he can find such a woman only makes sense.
He clearly separated his attitude toward foreign born women from American. I simply don't date unless I intend to use a woman for sex. American women, in general, aren't worth the time and effort to build a relationship with. Even spending $50.00 on dinner and drinks on an American woman is a waste of money.
It appears to me that you are twisting the comments of others in order to justify your prejudices.
Rationally attempting to counter GreenOgre's statements regarding American women would be far more appropriate than condemning the institution of seeking a foreign bride.
But when both parties enter the discussion with a chip on their shoulder, there is little room for agreement.

Feminism is above all an ideology of determined selfishness and narcissism, projected onto an identity group, pretending to speak in its name, and pretending to moral virtues merely on the basis of subscription to politically destructive beliefs. And an ideology of screeching, of imposing one's pet problems on others by sheer impudence and volume.
The proper response to that impudence is ten times as much impudence straight back, to that volume is ten times as much volume, and to that selfishness is complete license to go away and live as you please in complete isolation from civilized life. Nobody needs them, nobody wants them, nobody can stand listening to them. That is what they all need to hear, relentlessly, until they shut up and find a topic besides themselves.

Got to disagree here JasonC. When a new president is sworn in do you respect him? You'd better. You respect the office of the presidency. The office deserves it regardless of whose in it.
Likewise a husband deserves respect because he is the husband and the wife deserves respect because she is the wife. Regardless of who those people are and what they've done they deserve some respect just for being.
Of course they may lose the office through their actions and then lose all respect also but hopefully they won't be totally brain dead

Those of us on this thread that you're angry with (I just assumed I was part of the group).
His treatment of American women as objects of sex to be thrown away was rude and contradicts ~everything~ the much vaulted conservative family values are supposed to be about. I thought men of high moral character would find that attitude deplorable and fight it. But I rarely see that. Jason the bitter who is now going through this thread is ranting and raging and acting out ~exactly~ the kind of attitude about women he claims to hate about women. But no men here will say 'hey bully - that's not right to talk to her that way!'
If there's some women in this country that aren't desired because of their attitudes, then fine. I might say the same for some men. But to rage and bully women here because some woman somewhere did them wrong is wrong. And it should be called wrong.

As a child and as an adult the luckiest woman I know had eleven children. She lost her husband early on and it was hard on her, but in her eighties she is STILL the luckiet woman I know. And one of the most beautiful as well.
John, that man has run through this thread being rude to every woman on it. Do you honestly think he deserves respect?
It's well and good to fight the feminists Just be careful of the collateral damage. There are lots of traditional conservative women who are on our side. We've got to protect our own as well as defeat the others.
