The DocuPen RC800 from Planon makes 24-bit color scans, and weighs just 2 ounces. The $299 scanner has 8MB of on-board flash memory, plus a mini SD slot hidden beneath a small panel so you can really expand its capacity. Its rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery can be recharged via a USB port. |
The LaCie Rugged Hard Drive is small and portable, and offers Firewire 800, Firewire 400, and USB 2.0 connections. No power supply is needed. The 100GB model, which costs $399, features 7200 rpm speed. A $199 80GB model and $359 120GB unit offer 5400 rpm. |

Lite-On's new HD-A760GX DVD records to Double-Layer DVDs, and has a built-in 250GB hard drive. In addition, it records to both DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW disks, and can burn MPEG-4 and DivX video. The device also plays WMA and MP3 audio files. |
Samsung's SyncMaster 720 TD is a prototype from the company's upcoming line of desktop monitors. The display features on-screen push button control capabilities, as well as a companion stylus that allows the user to interface with the screen without a mouse or keyboard. |

Save your memories in high definition with the Sony DCR-DVD camcorder. The device will be available in March for $1100. |
Toshiba will be launching its new high-end Qosmio entertainment notebook later in the year. It features HD-DVD (the discs of which store 30GB) and a display supporting resolutions up to the high-definition 1080p format. It incorporates Intel's dual-core "Centrino Duo" technology. |

 |
ViewSonic's PJ106D projector isn't set to go into production until later this year. The incredibly compact and battery powered unit features DLP technology and 25 ANSI lumens brightness. Both standard and wide-screen ratios are expected to be supported, and an SD Card slot allows for JPEG slide shows. |
Saitek's A-250 is a wireless 2.1 speaker system that is intended to play music from a PC or laptop hard drive. It uses Class One Bluetooth technology, which allows it to pick up a stream of music from up to 100 feet away through walls. And you can use it with your iPod. The self-amplified A-250 has a respectable 90-Hz-to-18-kHz frequency thanks to its neodymium speakers. |

Belkin touts its CableFree USB Hub as the first USB hub that needs no cable to connect to a PC. Powered by Freescale's Ultra-Wideband wireless technology, the four port hub could allow laptop users to maintain wireless access to their USB devices (such as a printer) no matter where they are in a room. Pictured is a prototype of the final product that should be shipping for around $125 in early spring. |
In PC World tests, new Panasonic Oxyride disposable batteries delivered more than twice the performance of high-end alkalines for the same price. ($4 for four) |

Six days prior to the 2006 Macworld Conference and Expo in San Francisco, Other World Computing (OWC) gave an advanced preview of the highest capacity, fastest speed portable storage solution on the market, offering the newly engineered Mercury On-The-Go Pro Series 800/400+USB2 in an under 12-ounce design with an unparallel 160 Gigabyte (GB) storage capacity and running speed of 5,400 revolutions per minute (RPM). www.macsales.com/otg |
With a brighter screen, better battery life, and more features, the Creative Zen Vision:M certainly has the goods to give the iPod a run for its money. In addition to a voice recorder and an FM tuner, the $330, 30GB Zen Vision:M supports a wide range of video formats, works with a growing number of online stores, and is compatible with subscription services. |

At first glance, it looks a bit like a futuristic dental chair, but on closer inspection the Nethrone turns out to be a state-of-the-art computing or gaming environment. Mount a PC or console game player in the Nethrone, choose your input device (keyboard or perhaps joystick), and then adjust the angles and orientation of almost any element (including the leather seat) to your preference. The anticipated retail price: a mere $2495. I think we should take up a collection to get one of these for Ma!! (Kathy in Alaska) |
Interactive Toy Concept's newest radio-controlled helicopter, the Micro Mosquito, weighs six ounces and is only about half a foot in diameter. It's slated to ship in July for $99. It's the petite sibling to the slightly larger $69 Air Rage BladeRunner II, which the company says was already the world's smallest radio-controlled chopper. |

2Ch 8:6 And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.
2Ch 14:7 Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about [them] walls, and towers, gates, and bars, [while] the land [is] yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought [him], and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
2Ch 35:3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; [it shall] not [be] a burden upon [your] shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,
