DETROIT -- The NFL is letting people over 45 years old decide for themselves whether they're up for the physical challenges of a Rolling Stones halftime show.
The NFL originally had asked for people ages 18 to 45 to be part of the Super Bowl halftime show featuring the Rolling Stones in Detroit on Feb. 5.
The league did not want anyone older than 45 because volunteers will be on their feet a long time.
The Rolling Stones themselves are in their 50s and 60s.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said they wanted to open up the call for volunteers after hearing from some older Stones fans.
LOL
depending on the month of the concert, I MIGHT have been 1 year old by then :)
"You can bet I will be having sex with the wife during halftime..."
Who's wife? Will you be serving those Vienna Snausages?
I saw the Stones, Santana and Cheeck and Chong many moons ago was an awesome concert from what I remember..HAHA...
Keith was even confused back then. Damned good band in the 60's.
Didn't we try that in the singular with Janet Jackson?
So I guess nobody is interested in seeing Janet's OTHER tit?

Sooooooo,,, are we going????? :-)
(You snap up the Superbowl tickets and I'll take care of registering with the NFL,,,,,,, Deal?)
LOL..Hey you.
You got it!...
Alright, I am dating myself. I do have the Sticky Fingers album. Very good. Crank it up.
I'm 58 , retired, and can still probably kick your ass .
This may be the "jump the shark" moment for the Baby Boom.
LOL..Me too...
No doubt about it they are one awesome Rock and Roll Band.
I doubt Green Day or any of this so called Rock and Roll in todays music will last beyond the next one hit wonders.
I see that you've bought into the sickness that only young and pretty people should be seen. Sad.
And what do they call a "long time"?
He's talking of the fans.
Kind of a goofy response from him IMHO
Now if they sing their b-side "Jump On Top Of Me Baby" it'll be worth it!! But I doubt they will......it's never been sung live (no pun intented!).
