Former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick appears to have run afoul of the law again.
According to WAVY-TV in Hampton Roads, Va., Vick turned himself in to authorities Monday afternoon and is charged with three counts of brandishing a firearm Sunday night. Police say they received a call from the parent of a 17-year-old who said that Vick had pointed a gun at her son and two others during an altercation at a McDonald's parking lot in Suffolk, Va.
Police responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses, and issued three misdemeanor warrants.
Vick is being held on a $10,000 bond. If Vick is convicted, he could face up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine.

The only thing worse for the NCAA than having three or four unbeaten teams is having no unbeaten and half a dozen one loss teams.
I don't how much if any money he gets from his older brother but I think that's going to change pretty quickly if it hasn't already.
yep...
which may very well happen next year.
There are 3 or 4 teams that have the right schedule to go undefeated as well.
Ohio State - If they get out of Austin unscathed, their toughest games are at home.
Florida - The SEC is tough, but the defenses in the league are losing a lot to graduation, except theirs.
USC/Oregon - One of these teams will have to step up in the Pac-10. Both could be undefeated going into the game against each other next year.
West Virginia - But will they get the respect?
well up until last week or so, he wasn't getting any.
That's one of those stupid rules the NCAA makes it's players live with.
Right now? He's probably getting some money from somewhere, probably his brother, maybe his agent.
WVEC-TV was camped out in front of the Vick home this past Friday, and guess who drove up into the driveway in a BMW? Yes, it was Marcus in the driver's seat. He had just been arrested in Hampton a couple of weeks ago on driving with a suspended/revoked license and was due in court on Jan. 17 on that charge.
Well if WV runs the table they're going to have to hope that two other conference champs don't otherwise they'll be the odd team out.
And if he keeps this crap up he won't be getting any money from any NFL team either.
yeah....
I wonder if they have the horses to run the table though?
Agreed. Just because he talks like he has a mouth full of marbles doesn't mean he swallowed any steelies.
We'll find out.
The Buccaneers need a new quarterback. Simms is too short. I fear the worst.
This one's pretty freaking hilarious:
NFL no fan of Vicks Ron Mexico jerseys
Updated: 8:43 p.m. ET April 14, 2005 ATLANTA (AP) - The NFL doesnt want Ron Mexico to play for the Falcons.
Since that name was listed as an alias for Atlanta quarterback Michael Vick in a lawsuit filed last month, people have gone to the NFLs online store to order Vicks No. 7 replica jersey with a personalized MEXICO on the back.
But fans trying to order the customized jersey now get this message: The personalization entered cannot be accepted......
Maybe he should go by his alias Hank Bosnia.
I don't think the rules regarding money apply to family members. I don't think there was any problem if Peyton Manning gave Eli Manning a car while he was at Ole Miss.
Bucs won't get him.
Raiders get all the convicts. San Quentin is just a skip away so rehab / time is easy.
NFL rule 2116.69 Para c subsection : aldavis
hmmmm....
maybe...possibly :)
I think I have the rule confused with when the gift for the player is from an agent but comes through the parents...something like that....
What happened to the Escalade he used to roll around in? I know the didn't impound it when he was arrested last month.
You are right - he will fit right into a league where (from what I heard the other day) four in 10 have criminal records. It's about the same in the NBA, where the teams pretty much look and dress like gangs now. The NBA used to be my favorite league - no more. Not until the league cleans it up.
I think the name "Tony Argentina" is still available...
