Does anyone think that Al Qaeda isn't planning to infect people right here in the US with deadly diseases, if they can?

But of course, we wouldn't want to intercept their phone calls, when they talk to the terrorists already in the US, do we, we might actually find out and prevent an attack, and save thousands of innocent lives. Much better to just ignore those phone calls. (/sarcasm)

The chilling new threat...

There were a couple documented cases in 2001-2002 of hepititis B tainted bone fragments from Palestinian suicide bombers getting imbedded in Israeli survivors and they have been vaccinating the survivors ever since.

How long can HIV live outside the human body?

Scientists and medical authorities agree that HIV does not survive well outside the body, making the possibility of environmental transmission remote. HIV is found in varying concentrations or amounts in blood, semen, vaginal fluid, breast milk, saliva, and tears. To obtain data on the survival of HIV, laboratory studies have required the use of artificially high concentrations of laboratory-grown virus. Although these unnatural concentrations of HIV can be kept alive for days or even weeks under precisely controlled and limited laboratory conditions, CDC studies have shown that drying of even these high concentrations of HIV reduces the amount of infectious virus by 90 to 99 percent within several hours. Since the HIV concentrations used in laboratory studies are much higher than those actually found in blood or other specimens, drying of HIV-infected human blood or other body fluids reduces the theoretical risk of environmental transmission to that which has been observed - essentially zero. Incorrect interpretations of conclusions drawn from laboratory studies have in some instances caused unnecessary alarm.

Results from laboratory studies should not be used to assess specific personal risk of infection because (1) the amount of virus studied is not found in human specimens or elsewhere in nature, and (2) no one has been identified as infected with HIV due to contact with an environmental surface. Additionally, HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host (CDC: National Center for HIV, STD and TB Prevention Divisions of HIV/AIDS Prevention

I don't understand why the left is so determined to protect the enemy from discovery of their plans for mor WTCs and such. Another successful attack will pretty much eliminate the lefties from influence on foreign policy and the war. And besides they should be looking forward to getting their hands on things like the Homeland Security Dept, with all its surveillance powers intact. They will have a lot of use for that, though for the Democrats, it is a domestic utility with not much relevance to things foreign.

Where are they going to find Muslims that are willing to commit suicide and who are also infected with HIV?

Islam is a "peaceful" religion that forbids suicide, sex outside of marriage, drug abuse and homosexuality.

Oops. Sorry. Wrong planet.

Nobody in their right mind SHOULD be against the interception of any communication from ANYWHERE to ANYWHERE that had a KNOWN TERRORIST or a SUSPECTED [intelligence gathered] TERRORIST on one end of the conversation.

We KNOW from the TERRORISTS' penned and stated intentions that the destruction of Western Civilization is their ultimate goal.

To let them plot another ATTACK on our soil under the cover of the FOURTH AMENDMENT is lunacy.

Wonder if McCain knows this? Sure would not want to "torture" anyone one of these killers to protect our military.

AL-QAEDA is recruiting suicide bombers who are infected with the AIDS virus, according to documents revealed to the Sunday Mirror.

I'd say that AQ is pretty damn inconsiderate of the 72 virgins that these slime will infect in paradise.

Well.....
No doubt there is an abundance of HIV infected homosexuals among the fudge packing Arabs.....

In the past -- astute Muslim clerics have explained that the only way a homosexual can enter paradise is to perform a homicide bombing....

"Religion"???
Hardly -- Islam is a murderous cult for lunatics.

Too bad for Al Qaeda that San Francisco doesn't allow military recruiters in their schools...or maybe that was just a US military restriction.
