Are these repeats? Not worth the electricity to operate the TV.

Russert's MTP is getting paid by NYTimes by placing ads. In return, he has to pop-in NYTimes as many times as possible to promote them as well as his (and dems) agenda. And that 's not enough. Whenever ANYONE from NYTimes writes a book, he has to & will promote their book (Tom Friedman, Maureen Dowd) without disclosing to public that his MTP is getting paid by NYTimes to promote their propaganda.
Conflict of interest? Ethical violation? ......Nah. Those things apply only to admn. or republicans. Nobody questions MSM.
Will Russert grill this embattled NYTimes reporter James Risen whether he will reveal his Clinton admn.source (per California appeals court ruling!) or ready to face jail time & fine in former nuclear scientist Wen Ho Lee case?
Russert want us to believe that our security is better protected by the New York Times & the media than by the Bush administration, so he starts scandalous rumor-mongering. with his gang.

Of the eleven politicians appearing on this weeks Sunday morning talk shows, two, Cornyn and Brownback, are remotely conservative. Nice balance.
To: Alas Babylon!
Thanks AB, and good morning to everyone.
The line up actually looks like it could be interesting to me. MTP will showcase Schumer and he'll further expose himself for who he is and Cornyn is really a good guy from the times I've seen him. FNC is leaning to the left today but that happens and we can hope Wallace will further expose them. With Alito coming up, Face the Nation having Specter and Leahy could be interesting in understanding what they plan on doing.

Actually, Brownback is quite conservative. I think he made the cut this week, however, because he is expressing doubts about the warrantless eavesdropping on terrorists. Since he seems to be taking a position contrary to the Administration, he gets the invitation.

U.S. military Black Hawk helicopter crashes in Iraq. All 12 on board killed, officials say.
Prayers for the families. Sad that accidents kill more lives nowadays.

Morning,
Fair and semi-balanced is great. I hope we can remember that for future comments. FNC's moving left more these days indicates the deserve to get that comment.
To: Alas Babylon!
As Batman would say about this lineup, Holy Alito!

Nice balance.
Yeah, I'm disappointed with Chris Wallace on Fox. Does he think the RINO Goober Graham is actually "balance" to two Dems?
To: hflynn
OH JOY!!! Brit is hosting FNS this morning -- Chris must be on vacation! Yippie!!
