I agree. From the late '90's when I started to listen to Rush and while Ronaldus Magnus was alive, I constantly and persistently stated that Rush was the 2nd greatest living American.

The problem is, we expect our heros to be perfect.

A. They set themselves up to be seen that way. How often have you heard Rush say when something of "fuzziness" is out there that he alone would straighten it out.

B. They often claim to be correct.
