Hope so I hear theyre a bit painful.
Yeah!
Check out post 38.
Haven't we heard this sort of thing before?
Obligatory insider troll there maybe?
Take a gander and let me know what you think about him.
I think the poster forgot the < /sarcasm> tag.
I hope so!
Today is Sunday - I'll give the benefit of doubt.
True.
Sunday is freebie day.
Hey - gotta be nice now and then.
He was not charged...an why should he be charged?????
Have you ever been so drunk that you crawled through the window of someone else's house?
I have a hard time being nice.
Violates my character alignment.
*Chuckle*
I can always hope.
damn. i'm not saying the shooter did anything wrong, he shouldn't be charged...i agree with that. I'm just letting you guys know that he wasn't just another criminal who finally got what he deserved. It was an accident. I haven't ever been that drunk, but i've known people to be so drunk that they've done foolish things like that. all i'm saying is that it was an accident by Hector. The shooter was just defending his home and he did what he thought was right. Just to lend a little more credence to the accident theory, he lived at that apartment complex and he lived at the next building.
You're assuming the defender/prison counselor is a Gringo. Might not be. Might be a Gringa or a Latina/Latino or Negra/Negro or Asiática/Asiático. Story doesn't tell us much of anything about the home defender.
Slight correction. The article (excerpt anyway) does at least sort of imply that the defender is male. "He will not be charged", except that in English the default is masculine, so if the reporter did not know, he/she might write "he".
"The break-in occurred about 2:50 a.m. Sheriff's homicide investigators said Soto opened a front window to enter the apartment in the 8400 block of Fir Street, and walked to a bedroom. The prison counselor fought with Soto and then pulled a pistol from his nightstand, sheriff's investigators said."
If, as you claim, he was merely drunk and merely in the wrong place, why did he put up a fight, and why did he climb through a window at 2 in the morning?
Something in your claim doesn't wash.
Got a link? This link, from Fox 11 in LA, but is an AP story, last updated today, mentions nothing about the intruder being drunk and mixed up, nor anything indicating that he lived in the same complex.
Authorities say Soto opened a front window to enter the apartment and walked to a bedroom. Police say the prison counselor fought with Soto and then pulled a pistol from his nightstand and shot him
if you were at home and a stranger was in the house, you would put up a fight right? even though it wasnt his house, he thought it was...seems reasonable to think one would put up a fight in that situation right?
naw man i dont have a link but i know who to talk to and i have this straight from the detective who handled the case. i'm just letting you guys know the whole story. technically, the story is true, he did break in but like i said, he tried for 30 minutes to get in the house but his key wouldnt work but he didnt realize that it wasnt his house because he was just so drunk. thats why he climbed in the window. wait a few days and it'l come out how it was an accident. believe me i wouldnt waste my time arguing just for the sake of arguing.
