Thank you for the bump. I also hope that any of our freeper veterans will chime in so we can welcome them home in person. May they never feel alone out there. Hugs Feathers! :]

Spent a couple of hours this morning in Boynton Beach, FL, packing up boxes for Forgotten Soldiers Outreach. Once a month, we pack up boxes full of handi-wipes, toothpaste, beef jerky, soap, deodorant, etc., and send them to troops deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Okinawa and other overseas posts. Some of the folks spend a lot of time gathering items to be packed.

My pleasure, guys. Check out the website: www.forgottensoldiers.org. The soldier pictured, Sgt. Kris Knight, is my wife's nephew. He is a paratrooper and was with the 173rd Airborne Brigade at Camp Ederle, Italy. He jumped into northern Iraq in Mar 2003. He's a real warrior.
