Posted on 01/07/2006 1:06:17 AM PST by raj bhatia

As Judge Samuel Alito approaches his confirmation hearings next week, the more we learn about him, the more questions we have about the credibility of his assurances to us.

The Swimmer wrote this about as much as his brother wrote While England Slept or Profiles In Courage, which is to say, he didn't. The old drunk can barely walk, let alone organize a coherent thought.

Yes, isn't that interesting -- this week's news that Castro killed JFK -- and what a shame Oliver Stone and the Left can't make another movie blaming evil republicans. Oh, well, when they eviscerate the Patriot Act for good and hobble the admin.'s ability to monitor what Al Qaeda and bin Laden are up to, we'll get nuked and then the dems will blame the President and republicans. A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush, you know.

Those phone calls from Kennedy's motel room were to his lawyers.

My thoughts are always the same on these matters: which prominent Republican will stand up and say what we are saying here? The RATS have the MSM to do it for them against us. We have talk radio which is very powerful, but doesn't force the RATS to answer a charge in the same way something in the MSM makes our side have to answer a charge. The Abramoff story is a great example. According to the MSM, only Republicans got money from him except for the one or two Democrats who were innocently caught up in the sleaze from the other side.

So yes, the Cape Cod Orca is a huge target for credibility problems, but unless someone prominent is going to stand outside the Senate, in front of microphones, and bring up Chappaquidick, or better yet, fire it back at Kennedy during supporting testimony for Alito, it's going to be the same old story.

Nothing against Jim Beam, but all available information indicates that Ted is a Chivas man.

the cape cod orca (like all other senators, of both parties) is so out of touch with real america that he cannot comprehend that the five points he submits are positive assets and attributes for the majority of this country. thank god judge alito believes in the constitution and not hyannis orcinus' socialist disregard of this document. rush on friday mentioned that the person behind the princeton university accusations is big time
moveon.org and i'm sure the other four points will be exposed for the lies that they are.

I can't remember the last time Uncle Ted supported a Republican Supreme Court nominee. Its the same old playbook. Man those conservatives are non-credible extremists. And naturally, Uncle Ted is a clean driven as a saint. Why, he knows more about Alito than Alito knows about himself. We just have to take his word for it. ;-)

The refusal of MaryJo's parents to allow an autopsy fuels speculation that she was pregnant

And imo, that's why Ted Kennedy let her drown.
