Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had emergency brain surgery for five hours Friday after doctors detected further bleeding and increasing pressure. Doctors said they were unable to stop the bleeding, but a brain scan shows there has significant improvement in his condition.

This is looking more and more like one of those reporters will say anything to make a story stories...like the coal mine story. The reporters are just repeating whatever they hear from wherever they hear it, without verification.

As if there weren't any other real news to report from
Israel, as long as they're on the air, like what the
Junior Cutthroat Cult is up to in Gaza, and what's afoot
at the northern border.
Meanwhile, in breaking news, Sharon has
been mostly dead all day.

Just heard on the radio that his cranial pressure is down and his latest CT scan looks almost normal.
Sending prayers up for him and his family. You never know. A friend of mine's dad had a major stroke, in a month he was back to normal. It was amazing. Unfortunately, that didn't happened when my mom had her stroke.
