...SCHOL....
I want my voucher for free schol!..........
This would have to be the same Flori-duh Supremes that tried and tried to change the results of the national presidential election in '00, by just wanting recounts in counties of their choosing.
What a bunch of slimy d*uchebags.
Rotten FL Court!
In a way this is a good thing. See, the next step after the government gives you 'their' money to have you choose a school, is for them to start regulating the schools that are receiving 'their' money via the voucher program. It would be best to not even give the government that money in the first place and spend it on the school of your choice. This way the governments ability to be involved in your kids education is reduced since there is no financial 'open door' to step through.
We homeschool, and I would not take a voucher from the government to help pay for the materials. As soon as I do then the Feds can tell what materials I am 'required' to use.
Now a tax credit is something completely different.

Under the 1999 law, students at public schools that earn a failing grade from the state in two out of four years were eligible for vouchers to attend private schools.
