Iran leader 'disgusts' US over Sharon

THE US this morning blasted as "hateful and disgusting" remarks by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad hoping that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon does not survive his massive stroke.

"This is a man who wraps himself in the cloak of a peaceful religion, Islam, and yet you hear remarks like this coming from him," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said. The ISNA student news agency in Tehran quoted Mr Ahmadinejad as wishing Mr Sharon dead after the Israeli leader suffered a severe brain haemorrhage yesterday. Mr Sharon, 77, is fighting for his life in a Jerusalem hospital.

"I can only say that those remarks are hateful and disgusting. And I think that it is, again, a window into the true nature of this particular Iranian Government," Mr McCormack said.

Mr Ahmadinejad has already drawn world condemnation for calling for Israel to be wiped off the map and for branding the Holocaust, in which six million Jews died at the hands of the Nazis, a myth.

Mr McCormack said the latest comments on Mr Sharon were more of the same.

"I think this is part of a continuing stream of hateful invective that has come from this president." The US has pressed complaints against Iran on several other fronts, including Tehran's suspected nuclear arms program and its support for Palestinian militants and Iraqi insurgents.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the type that can turn this current war against terrorism into a full fledged world war.

Oh, cut the crap. It's a frickin' death cult, not a religion of peace.

Do you all see now why we should just ignore all the crap out of D.C.? They can't possibly be this stupid, yet these parasites assume we are.

Straight from Satans rear to Moe's demented mind!

"Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given as believe not in God" Sura 9:29

Sura 9:5 of the “Koran,” “Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush.”

Which parts of these words of mohamhead-n-satanallah are you having trouble understanding?

I think that's the goal. He probably figures their odds of coming out on top are better if there's utter chaos to level the playing field.

Every minority wraps themselves in lies and it has never stopped our government from passing laws against others because of it.

I doubt Sean McCormack has read the Koran in Arabic. So how is he, or George Bush, or anyone else who hasn't done so, in a position to say that Ahmadinejad is just "wrapping himself" in the cloak of a peaceful religion?

If Ahmadinejad, bin Laden and all the other psycho Muslim whackos claim that they are the true adherents of Islam, who is Bush, McCormack or any other non-Arabic speaker to say otherwise?

Based on everything I have learned about Islam since 9-11, these guys seem to be speaking for the faith.

Everyone in our government keep saying this.....but the proof is in the pudding, and I have yet to see "the peaceful" nature of Islam. You would think if this was true more individual muslims and mosques would be condemning these actions...but all I hear is silence from their cult.
