That looks amazingly like the car of a guy I knew back in the early 1980's in New York.
He built it with a tubular steel frame, and dropped a Keith Black 650ci aluminum big block into it, along with a pair of Holly 850CFM carbs, Lunati roller cam, and a high rise Offy manifold. Although his was normally aspirated.
It was a beast!
