It could go either way. The mother could have been given positions because of the daughter.
What I found out about Katrina's mother was very little except that her 'mother' was really her aunt. No mention of her biological mother. So that really confuses me as to whether this IS the same person, or different one. Katrina wasn't 'employed' in an office from what I see.
Either way, Tice is upset about it to the point he was classified as mentally ill. And if he (and his cronies) are upset about it, well, that just stands to reason it must have been a good thing, eh? Part of the housecleaning perhaps?
