That it does! But, this isn't early 1970s, President Bush is not President Nixon, Iraq is most assuredly not Nam, and Hillary! will NOT be working on disallowing another president legal counsel.

War, conspiracy, coup d'etat .... it's all looking massive. They can't and won't change public opinion because the public trusts Bush because he's right, so they have to contrive and manipulate the weak because they're so lost on the issues.

That's why I'm fascinated by the meeting of former Sec.States et al today at the White House.

I'm fantasizing that he's gonna be deferential, but tough, and .. and after they're made to sign a paper acknowledging that they will keep it quie .. is going to confidentially reveal to them SOME actual uncovered risk intelligence and then give 'em hell, in a nice way. They'll also be on notice as exclusively having received this sensitive information, so if it leaks, the WH will know who leaked it and better know their enemies.

I think he's rightfully furious, and going on the offensive .......... chess, not checkers. I can't wait to see the speeches by Maddie Halfbright, etc. in front of the WH afterward. I haven't heard if scowling Scowcroft will be there .. anyone know? Also #41 could be an ace in the hole in the meeting .. ya just never know with Bush .. that's why I love him. Always misunderestimated.
