"Guess he's another actor I can do without."

Ditto that. My list keeps getting longer and longer.

Good morning.

Mine too. But, to be honest, I really don't mind that happening. If nothing else it eliminates any desire to watch progams, movies or anything else by these people, so that saves me time and money.

They are free to say anything they want to say and I'm free to spend my time and money how I decide. Works for me.

"Look at what he's done to the environment"

What has GW Bush even DONE to affect the environment?

9000 crappy cars go up in flames in France and that gets a pass. China spills toxic crap (trys to hide the story) and endangers millions and they get a pass.

Speaking as a proud Englishman, I don't know if he had to take an oath of allegiance to your flag or not, but I assume so unless it is optional for celebs!

Those wishing to become UK citizens must take part in a citizenship ceremony where in the presence of Her Majestys local representative, they must swear allegiance to the Queen and to the UK. This must be done in English and prior to acceptance as a citizen they must take citizenship lessons to learn about their new country and it's values.

As for Pierce, It's somewhat ironic that he gave up his citizenship of deeply socialist Eire in order to criticise your not-very socialist President!

So Pierce Brosnan would rather have a better environment (in Iraq,no less), but let the rape and murder of women and children continue and for men to be beaten and tortured and put in meat shredders. Okey doke.

I'll try to clean this up a little, but I read somewhere that Pierce Brosnan claimed to be aroused when he was doing a nude bedroom scene with Rene Russo in that "Thomas Crown Affair" remake. The story may be a tall tale but in his case probably just an inch or two.

They're probably drinking Kaballah water. Paying $500 for a liter of water is not the smartest investment in my portfolio.

The Irishman admitted he risked a backlash like other stars who have spoken out about Iraq.

Make me gag! I think Pierce like so many of the other Hollywood crowd really overestimate their own importance. News flash you guys, it takes no courage to parrot the party line

Eire is southern Ireland - the bit we used to own and is now owned by Brussels! ;-)

...(I)f I recall right, the reason he gave for getting his citizenship was so that he can vote against Bush in the last election.

The real reason, no doubt, was to avoid the confiscatory tax rates in the UK.

Mr. Broslon,
Where the hell were you when your master, So-Dumb, was burning the oil fields and creating a REAL enviromental disaster?
Inquiring minds want to know. . . . .

Someone must have reminded him that he is not capable of shining the real James Bond's (forever Sean Connery) shoes. I only had to watch a part of his first attempt to realize he was a very pale shadow....regardless of the gimmicks.

Yep, Pierce, obviously needs work and this is his way of pandering for a movie role to the hair on fire leftist in Hollyweird. Hell, if he keeps up the Bush bashing, he might even get invited to join their inner-circle of beautiful people without brains who praise socialism & communism.
