On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
Yeah, I could understand where your coming from on that.
This game won't even be close...
WELL, I say to Jim Robinson...Bring it on!!!! LOL
Posting a live thread some 21 hours before the event is scheduled to begin would seem to help just a bit.
I have to tell you....all of these TEXAS wins predictions are making me nervous...
I like my teams to be underdogs...with the big surprise win..
I have no idea what BEVO is, and I'm hoping that you didn't just simply make a typo........
This game is going to be a ripper.
Naw, USC probably will be able to finish within 7 points of Texas. Enjoy your final 4 hours as mythical NC's, the bogus torch is about to be passed on to another beauty pageant winner.
I will be very very surprised if this game comes close to surpassing the Ohio State-Miami Fiesta Bowl.
this one would have to go 4 or 5 OTs to surpass it.
Who's playing?
Jan/Feb means Golf and then baseball...
Just thought I'd fix that for Ya.
28-23. Texas.
USC 35
Texas 31
OK, it all comes down to which Mack, and more importantly which Vince, shows up. Historically most things point to a Texas choke by a poorly prepared and outcoached team. The teams seems too loose, and Mack a bit too talkative, trying too hard to 'relate' to his players. But Mack has defied his past and not reverted to form all season, so who knows. There's something about Vince Young's attitude that I don't care for, but at least it isn't thuggish. If he comes out sloppy, they could easily fall behind by 13 or more, and while they would narrow the gap and maybe even briefly catch up, it won't be enough. But if he comes out sharp, USC is in for a barn burner, and Texas will win.
Texas 34, USC 27.
Very curious event sequence.
Bevo and his backup.
Wait, you have the Texas score numbers reversed ...
NASCAR = Sport?
My favorite driver is the one who can go the fastest with the beer can between his legs...Jimmy Spencer?
do the espn talkin' heads even know Texas is in this game.....90% of the talk and season highlites have been about USC.....they are fallin' all over themselves talkin' about USC....a newcomer just tuning in would think USC is about to play themselves.....
gonna luv watchin' them explain how UT managed to beat usc....
UT 42
USC 41
But when is the last time that 2 undefeated teams so thoroughly stood above the rest of college football and actually met in an undisputed national championship game?
Game of the Century (pregame, kinda like Texas-Arkansas in 1969, one of several prior GOTC)
