Scott Thomas update: mom's guardianship continued!
Scott's fight website ^ | 1/3/06 | Pamela Patton

Pamela's guardianship renewed for another six months!  Please see "Scott's News" for more information. (continued at link)

http://scottsfight.com/Scott's%20News.htm

January 3, 2006

Today was the long-anticipated status hearing on guardianship for Scott.

The hearing took place in judge's chambers with Pamela and her attorneys and Eliza and her attorneys.  Pamela presented the judge with information that she has now filed with the court to have Scott declared "partially capacitated".  This means, at the very least, that he would then be allowed to indicate his preferences for his social environment, such as who is allowed to visit.  He has repeatedly indicated that he does not want to see Eliza, but he does wants to see his son.

Pamela also informed the judge that, after Scott is legally determined to be "partially capacitated",  they would be filing for a divorce for him.  [emphasis mine]

Eliza indicated to the judge that she would fight any divorce proceedings.

The final item that Pamela presented to the judge is that Scott is scheduled for surgery to close his tracheotomy opening, which should allow him to regain his ability to speak and make sound.

Based on all the above information, Judge Wilkes ruled to grant Pamela another six months of full guardianship of Scott.  This will be a crucial time for Pamela and Scott, as they continue to work, not only for Scott's recovery, but for him to regain the right and ability to truly "speak for himself".

Please continue to join us in prayer and other support for Scott and Pamela as they continue the battle for LIFE.

Do you suppose he's still shacked up with Jodi? You have to admire that girl's courage. Not her brains, of course. Maybe she hasn't heard the old rule, what he does FOR you, he will do TO you.

Hmm. Boy friend's first wife collapses near death in unexplained circumstances. Boy friend is only suspect. Boy friend spends hundreds of thousands of dollars having first wife legally tortured to death.

What is second-wife-to-be THINKING?

Did the media ever tell the rest of the story behind Jodi's mother dying mysteriously at their house?

The last I heard they were and I haven't heard of any mention of wedding bells.

I never heard anything. I presume she was bulimic?

Michael unplugged both of his own parents. I'll bet they remembered him in their wills. I wonder if George Felos was there to watch? He just loves death experiences.

Jodi's mother was diagnosed with cancer. A suspiciously short time later (I'm thinking a week) she died at Michael's house.

Uh, oh. In the absence of any other information, we have to assume this was all normal. But one hopes they did a battery of blood tests and took a close look at the will.

It could have been normal, but when someone dies mysteriously in the home of a serial killer, I have a hard time believing it was normal.

I presume there was no investigation of Jodi's mother's death, just as the cops refused to investigate what caused Terri's injury. I believe it was on Larry King where Michael stated that he had the plug pulled on his parents and it made him feel good.

Maybe someday some brave detective will reopen Terri's case. I recently heard of a twenty+ year old case that was reopened and the killer caught.

WorldNetDaily Summarizes:

Editor's Note: The life and death tug-of-war over Terri Schiavo is a 12-year-old court battle that remained under the radar of most major news outlets until recently. WorldNetDaily was among the first national news organizations to cover the story back when it primarily occupied the headlines of the local press in Southwest Florida, in November 2002.

As the rest of the news world works to catch up on this complex, multifaceted, precedent-setting case, readers have asked WND about errors and glaring omissions in the current widespread media coverage. In addition, much of what WND reported in previous years is now topping headlines elsewhere, leaving readers to question why they're not finding the same details in current editions of WND.

In view of this, WorldNetDaily has decided to mine our extensive archives to compile a comprehensive analysis of the Terri Schiavo story.

The whole Terri Schiavo story

I have just learned that a man in his mid-70s in Denver will be starved and dehydrated in a hospice beginning Thursday. He had a brain tumor last year and has never recovered. Turning off the breathing machine is one thing, but withholding food and water is another. Pray that this man dies before morning to avoid the horrors that he will otherwise face.

Is he attached to a ventilator or just a feeding tube? Do you know any more about him? Does he have a death document (I refuse to call them 'living wills') stating his wishes?

What is second-wife-to-be THINKING?

Perhaps she's discretely informed Michael that in the event of her untimely death, a certain envelope might mysteriously make its way to the police. Actually, if she were really smart she'd take the kids somewhere extradition-proof and blackmail Michael from there.

This is Terri before Mikey's tender cruelties started!

Father Pavone on blessing Terri's grave:

I recently had the privilege of blessing the grave of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, who was murdered on March 31, 2005 by dehydration. Her grave is not far from the place where she died, and where people from around the world had gathered to protest and pray.

Those who visit the gravestone, however, will notice something highly unusual. While on most graves there is an inscription of two dates – when the person was born and when he or she died – on Terri’s there are three.....

Blessing the Grave

All are invited to visit the Schindler's new website,

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation, Inc., (TSSF) is a non-profit group dedicated to ensuring the rights of disabled, elderly and vulnerable citizens against care rationing, euthanasia and medical killing.

Les, ping to Theodore R.'s post above, #392.

Imagine if they would have dehydrated Tookie, or any serial killers. What an outrage that would be.

But judges find the helpless guilty of innocence.

The acts of judges such as Greer in Florida and Cashman in Vermont demonstrate the willingness of people in parts of this country to give to corrupt judges unlimited power, including the power to break laws.

What Greer and Cashman have done was illegal. The AG of Vermont, for example, admitted yesterday that Cashman's action was illegal. Yet Cashman was not removed. Same with Greer. Major newspapers in Vermont have praised Cashman. Certain groups and individuals have even praised Greer.

The anti-death penalty groups have revealed that they only oppose it in cases of a demented killer, not when an innocent woman is involved.
