LOL! All I can think of are the Dixie Chicks and their pinheaded comments in Europe. I think that they chose their name wisely. LOL!

What is really weird is how he gets a 2 week old chick to do anything but peep.

McGill University researcher Evan Balaban performs brain transplants on chickens to make them sing like quails. You know, it's only being able to claim he's a 'researcher' that keeps this guy from being called 'a sick twerp.'

Know what you get when you transplant Conservative brain tissue into a Liberal?
Trick question. They have yet to find a brain in a Liberal.

Maybe we could use scans before birth to determine who might be a Democrat, give them a transplant of the work ethic and individuality and make them Republicans.

If she had a brain we could have chickens singing like Streisand.

Interesting information, I guess, if I ever need to use a chicken to call quail. In the meantime, I suppose I'll have to continue with my own valley quail call, using a leaf of grass between my thumbs.
Works a treat, too. I can locate a covey pretty quickly from a distance, then start the hunt. Learned to do it from my dad. I also do a mean crow call, just using my voice.

He takes bits of brain from quail embryos and attaches them to the brains of embryonic chickens. . . . So are they able to spell "potatoes" then or not?
To: doc30
Hmmm...no mention of PETA in the article. Are they planning to smear chicken $hit all over the Mad Doc's lab soon?
To: doc30
Since all he is doing is implanting part of a quails brain into a chicken brain, how does he get the vocal cords to change or different feathers to grow? Sounds phony to me, could be he is doing what that Korean guy did, making phony evidence to get his name in the books.

Stupid article about stupid chickens who don't even know they're not roosters??
