A mother in Dallas is one of several parents complaining about a new interactive book for toddlers in which Sesame Street character Elmo asks "who wants to die?" according to a Local 6 News report.
Family members said 16-month-old Miranda Boll's new book, "Potty Time With Elmo," was supposed to teach an interactive lesson using voice commands. However, when the book's buttons are pressed, it reportedly says something it is not supposed to -- "who wants to die?"
"It's a sick joke," mother Angela Bolls said. "If it's a joke then it's a bad one, you know? And it's not necessary. It's inappropriate."
Bolls said she checked another copy of the same book and found that it says something completely different; "Who wants to try to go potty?"
The company that makes the book said it has had several complaints concerning the book, according to the report.

(Chuckle) especially the way his little voice sounds!
Elmo also yells about the door being open.
Ya, but it didn't even sound close to try.......
I am guessing that he is trying to build street cred for his up-and-coming hip-hop career. Up next, Tupac Elmo.
Or like the "Krusty" figure; "I wonder what mommy's medicine tastes like?"
Huh. I'll have a talk with Mom - that may explain why I feel like shooting someone every time I sit down to drop the kids off at the pool...
It's Dr. Zarqawi of Towelhead University..sarc
Sounds like a 'Twilight Zone' episode.
He doesn't have any neuticles to worry about getting blasted in ala One Pac.
Then he'll graduate to....SixPack Elmo
Ping to the funny.
What a rough life for these VICTIMS!
FIND A GOOD LAWYER AND SUE!!!
Hahaha... i like that pic!
"The American government lies to you! Join the fight for Japanese supremacy of the world! More to come!"
South Park did it!
Somebody obviously was inspired by the Chinpokomon episode where the Chinpokomon tells kids to "overthrow the evil American government".
You don't believe in giving many clues do you.
No state in the topics. No hints in the keywords.
Dallas. Not the one in Texas with WKMG call letters. (the only "W" tv station in Dallas is WFAA). Not the one in Georgia. (VHF stations there are 2,5,8, and 11).
That narrows it down to Iowa, SD, NC, Wis, Penn, and Ore.
I'll throw out SD, Ore and Iowa because of the call letters. That leaves Wis, Penn, Iowa and NC. I'll guess Pennsylvania.
Is this supposed to be the "normal" version? Elmo has waaaay too much time on his hands.
