Au contraire, nobody earns bad luck, bad fortune, or a job loss. These people took a job at the prevailing wage. Would you turn down the opportunity to make $75,000 to $100,000 a year? What do you make, and do you feel it's just compensation? What if I say you're not worth that much, take a job cut? What would you do if your job was cut and people said, those greedy workers "earned it"? Different story, I'm sure.
sweety- the UNIONS have earned this....
Why is it if business tries to maxiamize profit, it is some how heroic, but if an ordinary person tries to get the best wage possible and wants his/her family covered with medical insurance or other benefits, this person is greedy and deserves to lose his job? I doubt most of the posters on this forum could live off of 12-14 dollars per hour which is what Adelphi is planning to pay their employees. What all of you fail to see is that if this happens, we could be looking a deflation ie depression. We are witnessing an attempt to destoy the American worker-after they get done with the union worker, they will come after your job. None of us have any value to multi-nationals-it is about making cheap products for cheap prices.
