Nonsense, RW. A quick & simple search on CNET turns up plenty of very reliable sources for that particular quote. What's more obvious is how exercised (driven?) you show yourself to be with regards to the quote----or perhaps to the essay itself. Something tells me you would prefer this atheist site as a reference source: http://www.positiveatheism.org/writ/founding.htm

David Barton, the guy who dredged it up in the first place, has disavowed it and recommend people not use it. David Barton ain't an atheist.

I was giving you the courtesy of assuming, in the absence of other information, that you might care about the veracity of what you write. I've also contacted Chuck Baldwin, by the way. Several of the other quotes on his page are also bogus.

David Barton did not use the word: 'bogus". It's --->you who used that deceptive word. Barton said of the quote that insofar as a primary source has thus far not been located, he has termed it as 'unconfirmed." This doesn't mean that Patrick Henry didn't say it, it only means that seculars/atheists are doing all in their power to erase and/or revise America's history, and it's these scurrilous parasites who are calling our Founders quotes into question.

My observations concerning your being 'exercised' still stand.
