-The leader of the free world doesn't have time to listen to your terrorist conversations. That's why we have the NSA and other intelligence-gathering services.-
Even they don't have the time/resources to listen to everything that SHOULD be listened to. It's ludicrous to think that those listening care about conversations outside the most plausible.

If he is, he must be bored out of his mind.

If he is, I will mention more often that I love him, but I want the borders closed and NOW.

As a certified phone geek, can anyone tell me when the Whitehouse tech squad is going to scrap the 1990's vintage 8434DX and get our President a 21st century telephone?
If Dick Cheney can pack an ipod, why can't the President have a 4625?
To: WaterDragon
If he is, it would only take 5 minutes of listening to my teenage daughter to make him hang up.

For those who do not like the U.S., there are many other nations to choose from, as a new place to reside in. We won't stop you...

Well, at least then I'd know somebody's listening when I speak!
I know the feeling, I know the feeling.... :)

Thankyou Hugin,
Another piece to the puzzle connected that I could never understand. There was nothing like that reported by the UK media. They made everything look as though the US was charging an innocent man and it was just a spiteful act by the Republicans. I always told everyone while there he wasn't innocent and there were so many other things he was guilty of and not charged with, but it always fell on deaf ears. You've also explained and cleared up why Ken Starr fell out of favour with the Rep's, and rightly so.
I can see the difficulty finding 12 impartial jurors as in my book Clinton was guilty the day he was born and has never done an honest thing in his life.

" It listens for these and many other words in lots of languages." Hmmm. It sounds like the Sieve of Areafiftyonetomes.
(For those who don't get the reference, a technique for finding Prime Numbers was called the "Sieve of Eratosthenes"." First it eliminated all the even numbers, then those divisible by three, and then continued "sieving" for the remaining primes.) It's just the sort of thing you'd want your off-duty billion dollar weather computer to be doing.

It's going to be interesting at the least watching them try to sell this package to the public. I encourage the ACLU and DNC to file for injunctive relief, in order to insure the protection al-Qaida's privacy.
