The callous promotion probably succeeded in making it the most watched New Years celebration of the 'flipping of the calender' in recent history.

I would like to propose "New Days Eve" and on "New Day" we can look back on the important events of the day and celebrate with getting fall down drunk and start the next "New Days Eve" with absolutely no idea what you did... but on the plus side, you could make a "New Day Resolution" EVERY day...No, that's no good..Failing 365 days in a row might be too depressing.
