The standard objection that you hear a lot is that introducing ID will make kids "ignorant". But in reality, introducing it as a competing theory and examining the different arguments could just as easily result in a fuller treatment of the subject.

I agree 100%. If ID can't stand the scientific scrutiny, then let it fall. That said, to claim we can't even have the debate or challenge the ToE in any way, is anti-scientific. It's an act of lazy dogmatism.

It was toppled in 1859. Scientific scrutiny rendered a verdict long ago.
