After some initial blundering, Hillary is now carefully picking her issues. This is a safe one. She can't lose. It looks good. It makes the Bush administration look bad. Don't underestimate her, ever.

Yes but, this is a great issue for the Senator from New York and not the POTUS. May she enjoy a long and successful career as the Senator from New York.

And Hillary is an expert on loans to women, the poverty stricken, and not just here, but worldwide. Remember her Bejing (Women of the World Unite) speech?
Lots of info online about her touting these loan programs for women, even giving herself credit for inventing them, but precious little on how the programs performed. (Not counting HRC press releases.)
Butt you're right about Hillary cherry-picking her topics. She claimed ownership of loans years ago, so it stands to reason she would use the issue of loans as a presidential "find and fix" platform
