GOP Advisor Hired By Mexicans To Thwart US Border Control
The Post Chronicle ^ | Nathan Tabor and Jim Kouri

Posted on 12/31/2005 5:10:23 AM PST by RepublicNewbie

In a move that has many proponents of tough US border security and illegal immigration reforms scratching their heads in puzzlement, Mexican President Vincente Fox recently retained the services of a well-known Republican strategist to help stop the rising tide of public outcry over poor border security and rampant illegal immigration.

President Fox reportedly rehired the public relations man and GOP political consultant who is credited with helping Fox win the presidency in 2000. Fox wants Rob Allyn to curtail what he perceives as a growing anti-immigration political juggernaut, especially when it comes to illegal aliens from Mexico.

When the House of Representatives passed a key bill that would provide an additional 700 miles of border fencing on the US-Mexican border, and would make illegally entering the US a felony, Fox denounced the measure as shameful. His foreign minister called it stupid and underhanded.

The Mexican government's comments about US policy appears to have backfired, with many Americans demanding Mexico butt out of American politics and policy.

Allyn was all over the cable news nets a few weeks ago just after "Don" Vicente gave him the go ahead. The guy must be getting paid in coke or weed to become such a huge traitor to the country.
Anyway he was blasted soundly when he tried talk radio and hasn't been seen since.

Why don't you go find some 'real' news to post then, or are you only good at criticizing others effort.

I heard this guy on FOX a few weeks ago and based upon what he said and how, I don't think most of us have anything to fear...the guy could not respond to anything specific and continued to TRY to maintain that "I'm lying but isn't it funny and let's pretend I am not" sort of demeanor that EVERYone could easily see through ("migrants" he repeatedly said when asked about "illegal aliens" and similar).

Oh, and he used the word, "clearly" about twenty times in only two minutes.

What is supposed to keep illegals from just going somewhere else to cross the border if the new "wall" is only 700 miles long?
Second question: Kentucky seems to be covered with illegals, is this typical of the rest of the country?

Actually it IS slow. The period between Christmas and New Years is always as sparse as tundra, newswise. I don't really mind reposts, since a lot of people only visit every couple of days and otherwise wouldn't get to join in on the discussion.

His appearance on the John and Ken Show, KFI AM640 in Los Angeles was a classic. Their technique with guests they don't like is to interrupt and insult. They finally got Allyn to hang up. I ordinarily don't particularly like this interview approach, but I'd already heard Allyn's spin on two other shows, so I was in the mood for a beating.

The somewhere elses are in extremely inhospitable territory like craggy hills or places where there are no nearby cities to melt into. It isn't a perfect solution but it could be pretty effective. You can gauge how effective by the screaming that Mexico and the pro-illegal lobbies are doing.

I also noticed that the FR revered Tony Snow is starting to sing Vincentes tune on the construction of the fence.

RNC talking points making their way.

I was much more outraged at the GOP consulting firm which was hored by the Saudis. They are a much bigger enemy.

RNC talking points making their way.

Yep. The talking points were laid out years ago. Imagine what we would look like today if 9-11 hadn't happened and Bush got a real good start on his "new America"?

We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture.

Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende.

For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.

For example the New Mexico desert region east of El Paso is called the "Jornada del Muerte" - Journey of Death.

Not a good idea to cross there.

THIS is actually a pretty good indication of what is wrong with the GOP leadership. People like this joker and Ralph Reed are a liability to the party and subvert true conservatives at every turn.

I'm sick of it.

The GOP has eleven months and about one week to get their stuff straight.

IT's not good journalistically but it's nice to see us in charge instead of the rats talking us down all the time. I like turn-about-as-fairplay sometimes.

Even the lefties at work ( I love referring to them in politcal debate because their beliefs and stances mirror those of the people we rail against here)agree with the fence. One shocked me further when she said we need to round up all the illegals and ship them out. When I said that was very un-liberal of her she shrugged and said, "Enough is enough"..

Great post. I think that's why Chillary is for the fence as well. When the polls run about 70-80% in favor of protecting our border it starts to get politically hot for a congresscritter "not" to vote for a fence. About all the left(and some on our side unfortunately) could do is stall it into several budgetary years. Cheap IMHO, but at least it's going to get built.Lets face it the Israeli fence worked just toooo well to ignore.
I think forums like fr can take at least some small(if not major) credit for getting the ball rolling. after all how dumb can you be not to protect the border when we have terrorism problems like we do.

Mexicans are sensitive to foreign interference, especially involving the United States.

This phrase really made my day......bwaaaaa...haaaa....haaa
What are then US citizens supposed to be? Insensitive? What a twisted logic!
