Haven't been out on New Year's Eve in many years -- too many drunk drivers out there. This year I'll just be at home watching the Giants-Raiders game.
We have had ours for about 4 years, and fingers crossed, no leak...

No odd numbers allowed in my bed! (gotta see what my girlfriend picks, if it's odd, I'll change it or kick her out...) :-)
One of the all-time great combinations...tomato/mozzarella/basil!!!
How do you serve it? On little plates? I was just wondering how you keep it from being messy.
Love to hear these tips!
Ugh, it certainly does not! Granted, we didn't have a leaky roof, a cracked foundation, termites or any of the other nasty bug-a-boos found in older houses. We have walking ones called building inspectors! They're self-appointed deities in workboots yet they can't keep their own codes straight. We just got our final C of O the Friday before Christmas!
We designed this house for guests. We've got out-of-state friends and family, and we wanted a reason for them to come visit. Four of them are staying over tomorrow night and I'm so happy I've got a guest room for them!
Nope, Louisiana
Resolutions:
1. Quit smoking.
2. Lose twenty pounds.
3. Get to the range more often!
We are 16" below normal for rainfall this year...and everything is super dry...
We have idiots around here that fire off fireworks, even though they are against the law...
Usually, I just ignore them...but, this year---shoot, those fires that Fox has been showing were just about 10 miles from my house the other day...WAY to close for comfort.
Plans for the New Year's Eve- a cookout followed by line dancing and square dancing at church...communion at midnight...(dancing with the guy I had dinner with the other nite...I think he likes me...)
Next day- Pork, sourkraut, mashed potatos...
New Year Resolution- get over the loss of Terri and my Grandma... still not over it... avoid it at all costs...still hurts so bad....
New Year hopes- to help bring Nite Of Hope (a non-profit org for the homeless) to a new level. I want to help people find VICTORY in life's tragedies and mistakes- not VICTIMHOOD....most people just don't realize it is a choice...
and to witness and bring light whenever I can...through laughter and hope...
(lol- almost sound like the proverbial "world peace" LOL! OOOPS! not running for Miss America... nor Miss Divorced America either!)
I think you're supposed to eat cabbage rolls for New Years for good luck and black eyed peas for money or something like that. That's what Mamaw always said anyway.
What are your hopes and dreams for '06?
There may be a 20 year warranty on the new ones, I don't know, but ours had a 5 year warranty, and I called them just before our five years were up. They replaced the first leaky chamber for free, but not the current one. Actually, I should call them about the sagging head end.
I can let you know how they handle it if you would like.
I have a pic of your Bloody Mary balls!!! But man...you sure use a LOT of toothpicks!!
Sure, passionfruit, call 'em and stand up for what's Right!
Gosh...hello...I haven't seen you around lately...of course, I haven't been here as much lately either...so...
it could be me that has been missing..LOL
Seriesly, I have missed you...have you been well??
Bah, humbug.
I need to find a headboard/footboard for my Select Comfort Cal-King....any ideas?
Okay, okay...I'm planning to use a Hormel Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin which has been marinating in teriyaki since the Golden Quarter. I'm going to gently dry all the teriyaki off it, then coat it with honey, then rub it down with Paul Prudhomme's Magic barbecue rub, then rotisserie it in the Showtime. Then slice it up on the bias and present it with Jasmine rice and fresh baked beer bread. No need to apply if you are a rabbit friendly vegetable. 'Nuff said. Good God a'mighty.
hm...NOT me.
